Tulsa County records 2 new flu deaths; statewide total at 92 this flu season

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has reported two new deaths related to the flu, and both of them were in Tulsa County.

One of those deaths was recorded from testing conducted in the last week, according to the OSDH. Since Sept. 1, Tulsa County has recorded 22 deaths related to the flu.

Nearly 3,000 Oklahomans have been hospitalized for flu-related reasons since Sept. 1, and 92 people have died from the flu in that time span.
