The man who shot and killed a teenager that was allegedly involved in a robbery at a fireworks stand in west Tulsa County has been arrested.

Johnny Mize II was arrested Friday morning on a manslaughter complaint for shooting and killing 15-year-old Jake Ulrich. The sheriff's office says Ulrich and a relative, 27-year-old Jack Ulrich, tried to steal about $600 worth of fireworks from the stand July 4, but the owner of the stand and his son chased them down.

Mize II, the owner's son, jumped in the back of the Ulrichs' pickup and shot and killed Jake Ulrich, according to the sheriff's office. The Mize family said the suspects fired at them during the robbery.

Jack Ulrich was originally questioned and released, but he has now been charged with larceny for stealing the fireworks, the sheriff's office says. Ulrich is in the Creek County Jail on unrelated charges.
