Rogers County Sheriff's Deputy Will Draper and his K9 partner Micah were recognized by students of Foyil Public Schools Wednesday.

The deputy and Micah were presented a book by the students. The book, "Bloodhounds," was donated to the school's library in honor of the extraordinary service that Micah provides the school district.

Deputy Draper and Micah are assigned Foyil schools as school resource officers. They also play an important role in the Rogers County Search and Rescue Team.

Deputy Draper is preparing Micah to be assigned responsibilities as Rogers County's first "Cadaver K9."
