STEPHENS COUNTY (KOKH)--Schools across Oklahoma are working out plans to help prevent the Coronavirus.
Schools are preparing as cases continue to arise across the U.S., though none at this point are in Oklahoma.
An infectious disease nurse spoke to Duncan Public Schools administration on Tuesday about steps they could be taking.
Superintendent doctor Tom Deighan said that aside from making sure people take precautions, they are making sure they are in touch with health officials.
School officials said that they lerned things to do on a daily basis to prevent the spread and they mostly follow the same guidelines as a flu outbreak.
Some of the measures they said they can do include handwashing, coughing into their sleeves, and disinfecting surfaces.
