The Oklahoma City police are reporting a man was injured in a home invasion early Sunday morning.

The invasion happened about 6:30 a.m., according to police, in the 7700 block of Lyrewood Lane, near Lyrewood Circle. Three suspects kicked in the door of a home and demanded money, they were armed and had their faces covered.

During the robbery one of the residents was shot in the shoulder. The victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, but the injury is thought to be non-life threatening.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

Police do not have a good description of the suspects, due to their faces being covered, and ask anyone who might have information about this home invasion call the Oklahoma City Police Department.
