The Muskogee Police Department released body cam video of the deadly officer-involved shooting from Monday.

Police say he'd already stabbed his girlfriend and her daughter when they arrived.

On March 5 around 3:30 p.m., officers with the Muskogee Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing. After they arrived, officers began to protect and evacuate the victims and attempt to de-escalate the situation while Danny Brogdon was still armed with a knife.

The video shows the three less lethal options that were attempted to disarm Brogdon, all with no effect, police say. They tried to tase him and use a bean bag gun, but he continued to walk toward officers. Then they deployed a flash bang at his feet, but that was also ineffective.

Officers then fired shots at the man, killing him.

Police say eight officers fired their guns during the shooting and are now on leave. The police department posted the full details, including the body cam video, on their Facebook page.
