Rogers County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man barricaded himself in a home and set it on fire.

Deputies say the man and his wife are going through a divorce. She filed a protective order against her husband, so he wasn't allowed to be at their house.

When she went to her house on Highway 412 and 4190 Road Saturday afternoon to grab some of her belongings, her husband was hiding under the porch with a crossbow and machete.

As soon as she saw him, she ran away and called the sheriff's department.

Her husband went into the house and barricaded himself inside. RCSO tried to convince the man to come out of the home. He did not listen and proceeded to set the house on fire while still inside.

Crews were able to pull the man from the home. Deputies say the man is in critical condition.

Officials have not released his name at this time.

This is a developing story.
