On regular and special election days, polling places are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. To find your polling place, check your voter identification card or visit the state election board's Online Voter Tool.

You can, however, vote early or absentee.

To vote early, just visit the county election board office where you are registered to vote from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday or Friday before the election. For state and federal elections you may also vote from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday before the election.
